Causes of acne/pimples

1. Acne occurs when hair follicles being plugged by excessive sebum & dead skin cells. Clogged pores don’t allow the exit of sebum, hence build up. Sebum is necessary to lubricate hair & skin but at right level
2. Clogged pores encourage bacteria build-up, leads to inflammation, pimples and acne appear
3. The build-up plug causes the follicle to bulge and causes whiteheads & blackheads if the tip is darken
4. Excessive sebum is the primary cause of acne. Controlling it, is the basic treatment step. Bacteria lives in oily condition, choosing an oil free product is essential
5. Controlling acne inflammation, sometimes needs antibiotics. dr.eslee anti sebum products are oil and antibiotics free and contains saururus which has similar pharmacological effect as antibiotics.
